Signs Of Parvo
The most common clinical signs of canine parvovirus (CPV) are acute vomiting and diarrhea, often severe. Diarrhea may or may not be bloody. Affected dogs are typically lethargic and can quickly become dehydrated.
Puppies under five months and dogs who have never been vaccinated are at the greatest risk for infection.
CPV is diagnosed by evaluating the animal's clinical signs in conjunction with diagnostic tests. Not all cases of bloody diarrhea and vomiting are caused by CPV, so a definitive diagnosis should be sought to help guide treatment
The fecal CPV ELISA antigen tests utilize a fecal swab to detect CPV antigen, provide quick results (usually within 10-15 minutes), and are very easy to perform
Positive results are a reliable indicator of infection when associated with consistent clinical signs. Negative results may occur even when the dog is infected if the level of virus in the sample is low -- this can be seen early in the course of the disease and/or when clinical signs are mild.
The ELISA should be completed on any dog displaying clinical signs consistent with CPV infection but should not be used in healthy-appearing animals. Recent vaccination (within 7 days) with a modified-live virus parvovirus vaccine can occasionally result in false positive ELISA test results.

How to Use the Home Parvo Test Kit
Before you begin Ensure you're in a clean, well-lit area. Wash your hands thoroughly and put on a pair of disposable gloves to minimize the risk of contamination.
What's in the box Each Parvo Test Kit includes five test cassettes, swabs, and feces collection tubes. Everything is carefully sealed for your safety and to preserve the integrity of the test. The test kit can be stored for over a year at room temperature, so it's always ready when you need it.
Steps

Collect the sample: Using the provided collection tube and swab, collect a fecal sample from your dog. Be sure to collect samples that are as fresh as possible for the most accurate results.

Prepare the test: Open the foil pouch and remove the test cassette. Be careful not to touch the test window in the middle of the cassette.

Apply the sample: Apply the fecal sample on the test cassette using the swab.

Wait for the results: The test should take between 10-15 minutes to process.
Reading the results
Your test cassette has a control line (C) and a test line (T).
- If only the control line (C) appears, the test is negative.
- If both the control line (C) and test line (T) appear, the test is positive, indicating a parvovirus infection.
- If no lines appear, or only the test line (T) appears, the test is invalid. Try again with a new test cassette.
Interpreting the results Positive results are a reliable indicator of parvovirus infection, especially when associated with symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and dehydration. If your dog tests positive, contact your vet immediately.
Negative results may occur even when the dog is infected if the level of virus in the sample is low. If your dog continues to display symptoms, you should repeat the test or consult your vet.
Precautions This test should only be used for dogs displaying symptoms of parvovirus infection. Remember that recent vaccination (within 7 days) with a modified-live virus parvovirus vaccine can occasionally result in false positive ELISA test results.
After the test Dispose of the used test kit and gloves properly. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after conducting the test.

We ship with Purolator, UPS and Canada Post and you should choose the shipping that best meets your needs.
With Canada Post if you order on Monday for Example Monday is not counted in the time frame. I have also noticed that Canada Post typically will estimate the Delivery Date on your tracking as the last possible day within the delivery standard.
UPS Express Saver or Purolator Express are Typically the Fastest and Most reliable. The ETA given by the Courier is not always accurate. TBC is not Liable for Late Shipments. We can put a late claim refund request in with the courier you chose but they rarely pay them out unfortunately. Shipping Protection does not cover a late shipment.
Express orders are 1-3 Business days and not always 1 day that is estimated. If you need it the next day you may want to check with us to see what they are estimating in our system. We do not control the posted transit times at checkout.
The Breeder's Cupboard has no control over and are in no way responsible for shipping times, delays and lost parcels. We are happy to assist in any way possible if there are issues with the courier service. Please consider the shipping protection to ensure we can replace any lost parcels. The couriers cover a maximum amount of $100 without shipping protection. TBC will not be able to replace orders past $100 without shipping protection. It does not cover late orders.

With The Breeders Cupboard 45 -day web return policy. All we ask is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same, new condition. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. If the return is the result of an error made on our part we will cover the cost of shipping. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a product defect or shipping error. Return Shipping Charges are not covered by TBC and the customers responsibility Unless it is our error or a defective product. We will need the invoice or order number included in your return.

Supplements must be unopened. Please note that we are not responsible for allergies and your dogs/cats not liking the taste. While we do note in product descriptions when the taste is commonly not liked we cannot guarantee your animal will eat every supplement as treat or a topper.
If you’d like to exchange your product for something else, please proceed with placing a new order. Placing the new order right away will ensure that you’ll get your item(s) quickly and that it won’t go out of stock. A full refund will be issued once your returned product is received and processed. So long as the item is in the condition you received it and with the original box and/or packaging. The shipping charges and any return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
Once your return is received and (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 5 business days after your credit is applied for it to appear in your account. In total it can take up to 10 Business Days to see the refund on your end.
