Use Bene-Bac^® Plus any time your pet experiences adverse conditions such as at birth, prior to supplementing a newborn's diet with milk replacer, at weaning or with dietary changes, one or two hours after worming, or when pets are treated with antibiotics. Bene-Bac^® Plus contains live, naturally occurring microorganisms that are found in the intestinal tracts of mammals. It includes FOS, a prebiotic for enhanced GI health. Bene-Bac^® Plus Gel: Newborns: give ¼ - ½ gm at birth on days 3, 5, 7 and at weaning. Hand-fed orphans: increase to ½ - 1 gm on days 7, 14 and introduction to solid food. Post weaning: l gm up to 10 lb body weight; feed 1 additional gm for each 10 lb of body weight up to 50 lb. Use gel 2 times, 3 days apart. Place in mouth or mix with food.
