Bellylabs Pregnancy Test for Dogs is an early detection rapid dog pregnancy test for home use. The test is intended to determine pregnancy in a bitch as well as to distinguish between pseudopregnancy and a real gestation. The test measures relaxin hormone which is a reliable indication of pregnancy. For the best accuracy 96 %* we recommend testing after 28 days has passed from ovulation**. There is no harm in testing earlier, but there might not be enough of the hormone for a reliable detection yet. With the Bellylabs Pregnancy Test for Dogs there is no need for professional knowledge. The test is easy for every dog owner and breeder to do at home. Everything you need for performing the test is included in the box. No needles and no vet trips needed.
*The Bellylabs pregnancy test was compared to a confirmed medical diagnosis (ultrasound). The study involved 70 performed tests.
**Gestation days may vary if calculated from mating and the time of ovulation is unknown. A progesterone test can be performed to precisely determine ovulation before mating.
How to perform the test
1.Snap
Use the lancet provided to snap your dog’s lip to obtain a small droplet of blood. The lance is single use, and can be fired only once.
2. Collect
Collect the sample to the sample swab until it is completely blood red throughout and will no longer absorb any more sample. This is important.
3. Drop & close
Drop the swab into the buffer tube and swirl it around 3-5 times to release the sample, and break the end of the swab into the tube.
4. Release & read
Turn the tube upside down, open the smaller bottom cap and drop 2 drops of the sample liquid into the test cassette’s sample hole. Set a timer for 10 minutes and your result is ready!

Please note the color of the line can be very faint and any line for a test line is a positive result. When counting days if you do not know ovulation dates I would wait 32 days minimum from breeding to account for variations in dates.

We ship with Purolator, UPS and Canada Post and you should choose the shipping that best meets your needs.
With Canada Post if you order on Monday for Example Monday is not counted in the time frame. I have also noticed that Canada Post typically will estimate the Delivery Date on your tracking as the last possible day within the delivery standard.
UPS Express Saver or Purolator Express are Typically the Fastest and Most reliable. The ETA given by the Courier is not always accurate. TBC is not Liable for Late Shipments. We can put a late claim refund request in with the courier you chose but they rarely pay them out unfortunately. Shipping Protection does not cover a late shipment.
Express orders are 1-3 Business days and not always 1 day that is estimated. If you need it the next day you may want to check with us to see what they are estimating in our system. We do not control the posted transit times at checkout.
The Breeder's Cupboard has no control over and are in no way responsible for shipping times, delays and lost parcels. We are happy to assist in any way possible if there are issues with the courier service. Please consider the shipping protection to ensure we can replace any lost parcels. The couriers cover a maximum amount of $100 without shipping protection. TBC will not be able to replace orders past $100 without shipping protection. It does not cover late orders.

Returning Items
With The Breeders Cupboard 45 -day web return policy. All we ask is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same, new condition. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. If the return is the result of an error made on our part we will cover the cost of shipping. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a product defect or shipping error. Return Shipping Charges are not covered by TBC and the customers responsibility Unless it is our error or a defective product. We will need the invoice or order number included in your return.

Supplements must be unopened. Please note that we are not responsible for allergies and your dogs/cats not liking the taste. While we do note in product descriptions when the taste is commonly not liked we cannot guarantee your animal will eat every supplement as treat or a topper.
If you’d like to exchange your product for something else, please proceed with placing a new order. Placing the new order right away will ensure that you’ll get your item(s) quickly and that it won’t go out of stock. A full refund will be issued once your returned product is received and processed. So long as the item is in the condition you received it and with the original box and/or packaging. The shipping charges and any return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
Once your return is received and (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 5 business days after your credit is applied for it to appear in your account. In total it can take up to 10 Business Days to see the refund on your end.
